TreesCharlotte’s mission has always centered on equity and public health through the benefits of a healthy tree canopy. Trees see no race, no color, and selflessly supply all of us with life-giving oxygen, shade, and glorious beauty wherever they’re planted.
Our focus is to help everyone understand and use trees as a solution to many of the global issues facing us today, including air quality, water quality, a changing climate, deforestation, poverty, hunger, and carbon offset. These benefits are central to all life on earth.
TreesCharlotte remains committed to the values of tree equity and our responsibility to engage underserved communities. Part of that responsibility is advocating for the health, safety, and equity of the people in communities where we live to ensure a healthy environment, generation after generation.
