Volunteers are needed for open events! To become a volunteer, complete the form on any “open” event page. Open events are highlighted with a blue box.
While TreesCharlotte strives to celebrate, expand, and protect the tree canopy in Charlotte, we also want to protect the health of our supporters, volunteers, and partners from risks associated with COVID-19. We appreciate your continued interest in volunteering with us even in these difficult times. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering to volunteer.
Having completed a NeighborWoods Application, TreesCharlotte is pleased to partner with the Carmel Crossing neighborhood to plant trees in their common areas.
We are seeking 35 volunteers to help plant trees the morning of Oct 24. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly. 10 spots remain.
Tree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure we operate within State and CDC guidelines, we are requiring a registration form for each volunteer, regardless of age. We cannot accept walk-up volunteers at the event. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteer groups of 10 or more, please contact events director, Heike Biller to determine if there is enough capacity.
Events are held rain or shine. Details of the event will be emailed to registered volunteers the week of the event.
Deadline to register to volunteer is Tuesday, October 20.
We are recruiting volunteers but have enough TreeMasters for this event, consider signing up for the Thornhill event this same day.
