Stewardship at Lake Wylie Elementary April 2018

For this Workday Wednesday, TreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Lake Wylie Elementary to steward the trees planted in Fall, 2015. TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive. Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy.
Volunteers will help mulch and stake approximately 200 trees around the campus.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 15 for this Stewardship event. Deadline to register is Sunday, April 22.
Events are held rain or shine.
