November 18, 2017

Creek ReLeaf Logo

The Creek ReLeaf Program is a collaborative effort of the Charlotte Public Tree Fund, Charlotte Mecklenburg Storm Water Services, the Center for Sustainability at Central Piedmont Community College, the Sierra Club Central Piedmont Group, and dedicated volunteers and financial supporters to plant trees in riparian areas (floodplain and stream buffers) of Mecklenburg County and the surrounding region.  This year’s event will be planting along Briar Creek near Independence.

This event has reached capacity for volunteers and is no longer accepting registrations.  Visit our events calendar for additional volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers will be planting 1,500 trees on 5 acres of land.  To register to volunteer, click here. If you have any questions, you can contact the Charlotte TreeFund here.
