Brawley Farms NeighborWoods Event
December 7, 2013, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Our goal is to plant 200 trees in the Brawley Farms and Bristol Farms Neighborhoods in East Charlotte. Trees will be planted by residents and volunteers throughout the neighborhood and in public areas.
Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves and to wear long sleeve shirts, pants, and closed toed shoes appropriate for digging. Keep in mind you will get dirty and the day may be chilly and wet. Tools (shovels and pick axes) will be available to borrow. Water and lunch will be provided. Bring a snack if you think you might need it.
NeighborWoods tree planting events are held rain or shine. A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions.
