MonroeScape NeighborWoods Event

March 3, 2018, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Our goal is to give away approximately 150 trees to residents of the Burtonwood, East Forest,  McClintock Woods, and Woodberry Forest neighborhoods, as well as the congregation of East Baptist Church, collectively known as MonroeScape.  The location of the event is yet to be determined and will be updated once it has been confirmed.

Residents of the MonroeScape area are invited to come out, learn about trees and take a few home to plant. At the event, you will be trained on how to properly plant and care for your tree(s).  Tree training is mandatory.  You will then be asked to complete and sign a Stewardship Pledge Form with your home and email address (mandatory) and declare your pledge to take care of the tree(s) we provide.

We cannot guarantee species type or quantities.  Trees are 6-10′ tall, and will not be reserved or transported.  This is a first come, first served event.

If you are a resident of Burtonwood, East Forest,  McClintock Woods, or Woodberry Forest or a Charlotte resident member of East Baptist Church and would like to sign up for trees, please click here or the “Get Trees” button at the top of the page. Deadline to register for trees is Friday, February 23.

Volunteer sign-ups for this event are limited to TreeMasters. To learn more about the TreeMaster program, please click here. TreeMasters, please log in to complete the registration.
