Tree Walk: July 13

Take a walk on the wild side with TreesCharlotte! This educational event is led by our arborist and takes place at Freedom Park, which is known for its robust tree canopy and tree biodiversity. All events are open to partnership volunteers as well as community members. We will have a table at the start of the tree walk with some general information about TreesCharlotte as well to provide general information and on the tree species you will be observing.
Tree Walk will begin at the Demonstration Garden across from the Lilac Road Parking Lot (directly across from 2430 Cumberland Avenue). We encourage you to plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time to find parking as the event will start promptly at 5:30pm.
Comfortable attire and walking shoes are a must. Hat and sunscreen are recommended. Water and light snacks will be provided. Please plan to expect a brisk walk through the park.
