Meet TreesCharlotte: Wake Up – How You Can Help Fight Climate Change

Join the Climate Reality Project Charlotte Chapter, The Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte, Sustain Charlotte, The Sierra Club Charlotte Chapter, Clean Air Carolina, Life From the Ground, The Green Assistant, TreesCharlotte, Charlotte 350, Green Faith, and The Charlotte Area Green Party for a conversation on how you can get involved to help fight climate change.

The event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte in Cotswold (234 N. Sharon Amity Road). Tabling will begin at 6PM, with the speaking program beginning promptly at 630PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with speakers and organizations following the 2 hour program. The program is as follows:

– Welcome by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte
– The Impacts of Climate Change by The Climate Reality Project Charlotte Chapter
– Climate Justice by Clean Air Carolina
– Charlotte’s SEAP and Land Use, Buildings, and Transportation by Sustain Charlotte
– North Carolina Governor’s Resolution and the Green New Deal by The Sierra Club Charlotte Chapter
– Plastics and the Circular Economy by The Charlotte Area Green Party
– Gardening and Composting by Life, From the Ground
