Join The Elizabeth 8K as an Eco Warrior!
Keep the race clean and green through ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclables from 7:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday, April 26. Make sure to register on BOTH TreesCharlotte’s page and Elizabeth 8k’s to get free coffee, breakfast from Biscuit Belly, and a t-shirt!

About the Elizabeth 8K Race:
The Elizabeth Community Association (ECA) is thrilled to announce the 39th Annual Elizabeth 8K, one of Charlotte’s oldest 8Ks! There are several events to choose from:
- An 8K timed race for the competitive type: This course provides a fantastic tour of the scenic residential and commercial streets of the Elizabeth neighborhood.
- A 1.5M untimed run/walk for the casual participants: Join your friends for a brisk walk, go for a jog with your kids, or just get outdoors for a nice stroll through the neighborhood with your coffee.
- The Liz Kids’ Fun Run for the little ones: Even the little ones can get in on the action with this FREE fun ~50-yard dash. It’s for kids six years of age and younger.
BENEFICIARIES. Proceeds benefit the beautification of the Elizabeth neighborhood, and TreesCharlotte, a public/private nonprofit collaboration to grow, diversify and steward Charlotte’s iconic urban forest.
