TreesCharlotte is heading to Dorothy J. Vaughan Academy of Technology to provide care for the trees in their school grounds’ canopies. TreesCharlotte periodically returns to previous planting sites to ensure that the trees continue to thrive by providing pruning, mulching, and some invasive mitigation as needed. Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy.
