For volunteer opportunities, please check out events marked with a blue ribbon! Don’t see any available dates? Our events open on a rolling basis, so check back at the beginning of each month!
Our last event of the 2014-15 planting season and the weather was hot. Nevertheless, 172 trees were planted by passionate volunteers. View photos of the event on our Flickr page.
Our goal is to plant 176 trees in the Brightwalk neighborhood and Anita Stroud Park. Volunteers will be planting trees in common areas throughout the neighborhood and park.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 75 for this TreeDay. Register early, as our events “sell out” quickly.
Tree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts, please list all participants on the registration form, along with children’s ages and t-shirt sizes. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
NeighborWoods tree planting events are held rain or shine. A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions.
Deadline to register is noon on April 17. Click here to register to volunteer.
Once registered, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.
After this event please return to this page to see photos of the morning.
