Stewardship at Hornets Nest Elementary
For this Workday Wednesday, TreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Hornets Nest Elementary to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in Fall, 2016. TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive. Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy.
Volunteers will help with mulching and staking existing trees.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 15 for this Stewardship event. Deadline to register is Sunday, October 21.
