Thanks to the generous support of Wells Fargo, our goal is to give away approximately 150 trees to residents in the Steele Chase neighborhood. The location of the event is yet to be determined and will be updated once it has been confirmed.
Residents of Steele Chase are invited to come out, learn about trees and take a few home to plant. At the event, you will be trained on how to properly plant and care for your tree(s). Tree training is mandatory. You will then be asked to complete and sign a Stewardship Pledge Form with your home and email address (mandatory) and declare your pledge to take care of the tree(s) we provide.
We cannot guarantee species type or quantities. Trees are 6-10′ tall, and will not be reserved or transported. This is a first come, first served event.
If you are a resident of the Prosperity Village area Steele Chase neighborhood and would like to sign up for trees, please click here or the “Get Trees” button at the top of the page. Deadline to register for trees is Friday, February 16.
Our community partner, NC Wildlife Federation will be on hand with fun, interactive children activities between 9:00 and 10:00am.
Volunteer sign-ups for this event are limited to TreeMasters. This being a smaller event, we are only in need of 10 TreeMasters. To learn more about the TreeMaster program, please click here. TreeMasters, please log in to complete the registration.
