Tree Walk and Talk: Elmwood Cemetery

Take an evening stroll with TreesCharlotte. Our community arborist will be giving a walking tour of
Elmwood Cemetery’s historic trees as a part of TreesCharlotte’s new “Tree Talk” series. Elmwood Cemetery is a Class 1 Arboretum with dozens of unique species of trees for us to explore. TreesCharlotte has also planted 190 trees at the cemetery. Come to learn about plant identification, the importance of urban tree canopy, or just to enjoy a walk. Please read over the information below:
- Event is FREE and open to all.
- Please arrive by 6:00 pm, as we will be leaving the starting point by 6:10 pm.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to walk in.
- It may be hot, so be sure to bring water.
