Greenville Tree Mapping Sept 5

TreesCharlotte will be conducting a tree inventory mapping of street-view trees in the Greenville Community neighborhood. Volunteers will be split into zones and will be given measuring tapes, tree manuals, and a quick tutorial on how to use the “PictureThis” app:
- Number of trees (note heritage trees)
- Trunk diameter measurement of each accessible tree
- Identify tree species and the number of each tree species
Participants are encouraged to download the PictureThis app ahead of the tree mapping event. PictureThis is a free app to use, please do not subscribe to this service. If you have trouble accessing the free version, the TreesCharlotte staff will guide you on how to access it on the day of the event.
