SUMMARY:Ranson IB Middle School TreeDay event
DESCRIPTION:We had an amazing event and thanks to all our volunteers\, we were able to plant 194 trees around the campus.  Click here to view just some photos of the event. Ranson Summary Slide \nYou can also see photos of the event on our Flickr page here.  \n \nWith generous support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation\, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 200 trees on the campus of Ranson IB Middle School. \nVolunteers from AXA Insurance are helping with this event\, but we are also looking for additional volunteers to help out. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 75 for this TreeDay.  Register early\, as our events “sell out” quickly. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome.  To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages and t-shirt sizes. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nNeighborWoods tree planting events are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Croft Community School TreeDay event
DESCRIPTION:TreesCharlotte is partnering with Carolinas Healthcare System to plant approximately 691 trees on the campus of Croft Community School. \nIn addition to volunteers from CHS\, we are inviting volunteers from the general public to help out. To ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 150 for this TreeDay. \nTree planting events are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nRegistration for this event has closed; however\, we could still use a few more volunteers.  Come to the front of the school and check-in at the “Day Of Registration” line.  We’d love to have you. \nDeadline to register is October 17.   Click here to register. \n
