SUMMARY:TreeAmbassador Training
DESCRIPTION:Education is a cornerstone of TreesCharlotte’s mission\, but our data shows that less than 10% of Charlotteans are familiar with our organization. With a rapidly developing city\, we need to ensure that residents are given the inspiration they need to advocate for tree planting and preservation in their communities. We are in search of passionate\, motivated individuals to help TreesCharlotte spread awareness.  TreeAmbassadors are specially trained volunteers who represent TreesCharlotte at outreach events\, educational opportunities\, and more!  \nIf this sounds like you and you want to volunteer in this capacity\, register here for our TreeAmbassador training.

The tree planting season in Charlotte runs from October to early April.  \nTraining Planting \nFollowing the training\, graduates will be provided an opportunity to get hands-on experience with a tree planting on the morning of September 16th. This add-on training session is not required but strongly encouraged. \nWhat is the time commitment? \nTreeMasters are asked to commit to volunteer at a minimum of 3 regularly scheduled tree planting/adoption events annually (each about 5 hours).
