We invite residents living in zip codes 28206\, 28208\, 28213\, 28214\, and 28216 to come on out and get some trees at TreesCharlotte!   \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nTo ensure the event runs smoothly please read the details below carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nRegistration is required and opens at 10 am Monday\, October 10\, and closes when we “sell-out” of trees or at 11:59 pm Thursday\, October 13. \nEach address within the city of Charlotte zip codes 28206\, 28208\, 28213\, 28214\, and 28216 can get up to 2 trees. What a great way to add more shade and beauty to your neighborhood. \nResidents\, here’s what you need to know: \n\nEach Hoskins household can get up to 3 trees\, with a limit of 2 of the same species per household.\nYou are able to pre-register for the trees. We will also provide an opportunity to get trees if you are unable to register. On Saturday\, Nov. 19\, explore the recently completed section of this north Charlotte trail as part of our Growing our Greenways series with Partners for Parks\, Carolina Thread Trail\, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation\, and lastly us!  \nThe new section stretches from Interstate 77 to Treyburn Drive. Phase 2 is expected to be completed in 2023\, and Phase 3 is slated to start construction late this year. When finished\, the greenway will span roughly 4.5 miles and run from I-77 to Oakdale Road.  \nWe are looking for 1-2 TreeAmabassadors to assist Kate Bolkin and help table at the event.  \nFurther details will be provided the week of the event.
