DESCRIPTION:We are excited to offer trees to the attendees of the Hindu Center of Charlotte!  \nWe will conduct a TreeAdoption at the Hindu Center on Sat\, Nov. 6th\, for residents to pick up and plant trees in their own yards! What a great way to add more shade and beauty to your neighborhood. \nHere’s what you need to know: \n\nAttendees of the Hindu Center Only: Each household can get up to 2 trees\, with a limit of 2 of the same species per household.\nYou must pre-register for the trees. Registration opens at 10:00 am\, Monday\, Oct. 18th  (link will be provided by the Hindu Center) and closes at 11:59 pm\, Thursday\, Oct. 28th.\nEach tree comes with a bag of mulch.\nYou will need to pick up your trees at the Hindu Center\, on Sat\, Nov 6th\, between 10:30-11:30 a.m. If you cannot make this window\, please make arrangements with a neighbor to get your trees. \nAt the TreeAdoption\, you will be taught how to properly plant and care for your tree(s).  Tree training is mandatory.\nAbout the trees: The trees are in 7-gallon containers\, measure 6-15 feet tall\, and weigh about 20-25 pounds. DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to go back to our normal event format\, which includes an in-person planting demonstration and tree education\, a core mission of TreesCharlotte!  \nThanks to the generous support of Crescent Communities\, TreesCharlotte is excited to bring our Zip Code TreeAdoption event to the Westside.  We invite residents living in zip codes 28208\, 28214\, and 28216 to come on out and get some trees at Whitewater Middle School.  \nTo ensure the event runs smoothly please read the details below carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nRegistration is required and opens at 10am Tuesday\, October 26.  (link will be posted above on 10/26) and closes when we “sell-out” of trees or at 11:59pm Thursday\, October 28. \nEach address within zip codes 28208\, 28214\, and 28216 can get up to 2 trees. While the registration form does not limit the total number of trees\, households requesting more than 2 trees will be notified and removed.\nProof of residency within 28208\, 28214\, and 28216 (ie: driver’s license\, utility bill\, etc) must be shown at the event.\nA valid email address is required to register.\nPlease allow for at least 45 minutes to receive your trees as everyone is required to go through a planting demonstration. \nWe are continuing to implement staggered pickup times.
