SUMMARY:Thomas McAlister Winget Park TreeDay Event
DESCRIPTION:As part of our Arbor Week celebration\, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 30 trees in Winget Park. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 15 for this TreeDay. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register is Sunday\, March 11. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.

SUMMARY:Seedling Prep Event with the Toyota Green Initiative
DESCRIPTION:As a part of the CIAA Tournament\, TreesCharlotte is pleased to partner with the Toyota Green Initiative in the promotion of sustainability in African-American communities.  Make a change by donating time to revitalize the Johnson C. Come prepared to get dirty. \nClick here to register to volunteer.
