SUMMARY:Briar Creek TreeDay Event
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the generous support of Piedmont Natural Gas\, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 200 trees along Briar Creek with volunteers from Piedmont Natural Gas and the community. \nVolunteers will need to walk at least .5 miles to get to the planting locations along the greenway. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 50 for this TreeDay. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly.  Only 10 spots remain.   \nVolunteer groups of 10 or more\, please contact events director\, Heike Biller. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register is Sunday\, March 10. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.
