DESCRIPTION:For this Workday Wednesday\, TreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Southwest Middle to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in Fall\, 2017.  TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive.  Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy. \nVolunteers will help with mulching and staking existing trees. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 50 for this Stewardship event.  Deadline to register is Sunday\, February 10. \nEvents are held rain or shine.
