DESCRIPTION:It was a beautiful morning to be giving away trees and planting in the common areas. View photos of the event on our Flickr page. \n  \nOur goal is to plant 200 trees in the Madison Park at Wallace Farms and Sinclair Place neighborhoods in Northeast Charlotte. Volunteers will be helping residents plant trees in their yards and in common areas in the neighborhood. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 30 for this TreeDay. Register early\, as our events “sell out” quickly. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome.  To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages and t-shirt sizes. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nChildren activities will be provided during the event by the NC Wildlife Federation. \nNeighborWoods tree planting events are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register is March 13.   Click here to register to volunteer. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event. \nAfter this event please return to this page to see photos of the morning. \n  \nResidents \nIf you are a resident of Madison Park at Wallace Farms or Sinclair Place and would to sign up for trees\, please click here.
