DESCRIPTION:For this Workday Wednesday\, TreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Barringer Academic Center to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in the Fall\, 2017.  TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive.  Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy. \nWe love our volunteers\, however\, general volunteers are not needed for this event.  Please check the events calendar for other opportunities highlighted in blue. \nWe are in need of 2-3 TreeMasters to help direct volunteers.  Learn more about the TreeMaster program here. \nOops! DESCRIPTION:With generous support from OneTree Planted\, TreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Southwest Middle School to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in the Fall\, 2018.  TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive.  Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 20 for this TreeDay. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly. \nVolunteer groups of 10 or more\, please contact events director\, Heike Biller to determine if there is enough capacity. \nTree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages.
