DESCRIPTION:For this Workday Wednesday\, TreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Kennedy Middle School to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in Fall\, 2016.  TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive.  Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy. \nVolunteers will help with mulching and staking existing trees.  Events are held rain or shine. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 15 for this Stewardship event. SUMMARY:Park South Station Tree Planting Event
DESCRIPTION:Having completed a NeighborWoods Application and been accepted into the program\, TreesCharlotte is pleased to be partnering with the Park South Station neighborhood to plant approximately 400 trees in common areas around their neighborhood. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 200 for this TreeDay. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly.  5 spots remaining. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register is Sunday\, November 11. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.

DESCRIPTION:For this year’s GivingTuesday\, TreesCharlotte is partnering with District Rotary and returning to the campus of Paw Creek Elementary to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in Spring\, 2018.  TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive.  Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy. \nWe love our volunteers\, however this event is reserved for Rotary members and TreeMasters.  Please visit our events calendar for other volunteer opportunities.  \nVolunteers will help mulch existing trees as well as plant a few more. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 35 for this Stewardship event.  Deadline to register is Sunday\, November 25. \nEvents are held rain or shine.
