SUMMARY:Stonehaven NeighborWoods Event
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to Wells Fargo for their generous support of our NeighborWoods program.  Our goal is to plant approximately 150 trees in common areas in the Stonehaven neighborhood. \nVolunteers are needed to help plant trees in the common areas.  To ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 75 for this event. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. TreeMasters will demonstrate proper techniques for tree planting and will be with volunteers throughout the morning. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nTreeMasters\, if you would like to volunteer at this event\, please click here.

SUMMARY:Seedling Preparation event – April 4
DESCRIPTION:Help is needed to prepare seedlings to be given away at events around Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for groups or organizations and for anyone needing school community service hours; appropriate for anyone eight years or older. \nVolunteers will soak seedlings in water\, wrap them in newspaper and place them in a bag\, then attach a card to the bag. \nSeedlings are bare root and very messy. Come prepared to get dirty.

SUMMARY:Stewardship Event at Reid Park Academy
DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all the volunteers that have registered for this event.  We have reached capacity and can no longer accept any volunteer registrations.  Please visit our events calendar for other “open” events this spring. \nTreesCharlotte is returning to the campus of Reid Park Academy to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in March\, 2014.
