SUMMARY:Garinger High School TreeDay event
DESCRIPTION:What a great morning.  Despite the cold\, rainy conditions\, 160 volunteers planted 372 trees.  Check out some of the photos in our Flickr account here. \n  \nWith generous support from the Women’s Impact Fund\, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 425 trees on the campus of Garinger High School. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 220 for this TreeDay.  Register early as our events “sell out” quickly. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome.  To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages and t-shirt sizes. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register is November 21.  Click here to register. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.
