DESCRIPTION:Thanks to generous support from Verizon\, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 85 trees on the campus of Collinswood Language Academy.  \nWhile TreesCharlotte strives to celebrate\, expand\, and protect the tree canopy in Charlotte\, we also want to protect the health of our supporters\, volunteers\, and partners from risks associated with COVID-19.  We appreciate your continued interest in volunteering with us even in these difficult times. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering to volunteer. \nWe are looking for 50 volunteers to help plant trees around the campus on the morning of March 19. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly.  0 spots remain.  \nVolunteer groups of 10 or more\, please contact Zack Agerton to determine if there is enough capacity. \nTree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate counts and liability forms are signed\, we ask that all participants please register separately. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine. A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register to volunteer is Sunday\, March 13th. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.
