DESCRIPTION:While TreesCharlotte strives to celebrate\, expand\, and protect the tree canopy in Charlotte\, we also want to protect the health of our supporters\, volunteers\, and partners from risks associated with COVID-19.  We appreciate your continued interest in volunteering with us even in these difficult times. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering to volunteer.  \nTreesCharlotte is excited to partner with the City of Charlotte to plant approximately 76 15-gallon trees around Elmwood Cemetery. \nThis event is reserved for Rotary members! However\, we do have other opportunities if you would like to check out our calendar for other opportunities.  \nTree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate counts and liability forms are signed\, we ask that all participants please register separately. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register to volunteer is Sunday\, March 6. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event.
