DESCRIPTION:Having completed a NeighborWoods Application\, TreesCharlotte is pleased to partner with the Carmel Heights neighborhood to plant 54 trees in their common areas!  \nVOLUNTEERS NEEDED! \nWhile TreesCharlotte strives to celebrate\, expand\, and protect the tree canopy in Charlotte\, we also want to protect the health of our supporters\, volunteers\, and partners from risks associated with COVID-19.  We appreciate your continued interest in volunteering with us even in these difficult times. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering to volunteer. \nWe are looking for 30 volunteers and 4 TreeMasters to help plant 54 trees in the common areas on the morning of Oct. 23. Register early as our events “sell-out” quickly. 0 spots remain. We now have enough TreeMasters for this event!  \nTree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate counts and liability forms are signed\, we ask that all participants please register separately. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nVolunteer groups of 10 or more\, please contact events director\, Zack Agerton to determine if there is enough capacity. \nEvents are held rain or shine. Details of the event will be emailed to registered volunteers the week of the event. \nDeadline to register to volunteer is Sunday\, October 17.
