SUMMARY:Tree Canopy Action Summit III
DESCRIPTION:The goal of the Summit is to share in an interesting and interactive discussion of the topics most relevant to our urban forest.  This year’s Summit will cover: \n\nReporting on the collective successes & goals of the TreesCharlotte collaborative;\nGrowing superior trees;\nPolicy issues including the recent canopy analysis and payment in lieu provisions of the tree ordinance;\nUpdate on the cankerworm and Charlotte’s street tree program;\nRoundtable discussion of research and education topics; and\nOther issues important to participants.\n\nThis event is intended for those directly involved in protecting\, preserving and expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy.  Space is limited so rsvp early and no later than May 14.
