We invite residents living in zip codes 28202\,  28203\, 28204\, 28206\, and 28216 to come on out and get some trees at AvidXchange Inc.    \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nTo ensure the event runs smoothly please read the details below carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nRegistration is required and opens at 10 am Tuesday\, March 1st.  (link will be posted above on 3/01) and closes when we “sell-out” of trees or at 11:59 pm Thursday\, March 3rd. \nEach address within the city of Charlotte zip codes 28202\,  28203\, 28204\, 28206\, and 28216 can get up to 2 trees. While the registration form does not limit the total number of trees\, households requesting more than 2 trees will be notified and removed.\nA valid email address is required to register.\nPlease allow for at least 45 minutes to receive your trees as everyone is required to go through a planting demonstration. \nWe are continuing to implement staggered pickup times. On the registration form\, you will choose a time frame to pick up your trees. \nAt the TreeAdoption\, you will be taught how to properly plant and care for your tree(s).  Tree training is mandatory.\nAbout the trees: The trees are in 3\, 5\, and 7-gallon containers\, measure 6-10 feet tall\, and weigh about 10-15 pounds. The mulch weighs 25 pounds/bag. Links to the species we are offering are provided below.  Please do your homework first to ensure you’re putting the right tree in the right place. Please read through our new event protocols here before registering to volunteer.  \nTreesCharlotte is excited to partner with the City of Charlotte to plant approximately 76 15-gallon trees around Elmwood Cemetery. \nThis event is reserved for Rotary members! However\, we do have other opportunities if you would like to check out our calendar for other opportunities.  \nTree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate counts and liability forms are signed\, we ask that all participants please register separately. DESCRIPTION:Help is needed to prepare seedlings to be given away at events around Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for groups or organizations and for anyone needing school community service hours; appropriate for anyone eight years or older. \nVolunteers will soak seedlings in water\, wrap them in newspaper and place them in a bag with information about the tree species. Seedlings are bare root and very messy. Come prepared to get dirty!  \nVolunteer groups of 10 or more\, please contact events director\, Zack Agerton to determine if there is enough capacity.

We will have 150 canopy builders for you to choose from.
