DESCRIPTION:Having completed a NeighborWoods Application  TreesCharlotte is pleased to partner with the Woodbury neighborhood to provide trees to their residents. We will conduct a private drive-thru TreeStore at the Woodbury pool on Saturday\, March 6th\, for residents to pick up and plant trees in their own yards! What a great way to add more shade and beauty to your neighborhood. \nResidents\, here’s what you need to know: \n\nEach Woodbury household can get up to 3 trees\, with a limit of 2 of the same species per household.\nYou must pre-register for the trees. Registration opens at 10:00 am Tuesday\, Feb 16\, and closes at 11:59 pm Feb 26. (Link will be provided by neighborhood leadership)\nThe cost is $10/tree (plus fees). Each tree comes with a bag of mulch.\nYou will need to pick up your trees at the Woodbury pool\, on Saturday\, March 6th\, between 9-10:00 a.m.  If you cannot make this window\, please make arrangements with a neighbor to get your trees. \nThis will be a largely drive-through event to limit personal contact. You will be expected to load your own trees and mulch. \nAbout the trees: The trees are in 7-gallon containers\, measure 6-10 feet tall\, and weigh about 20-25 pounds. The mulch weighs 25 pounds/bag. Links are provided below to learn more about each species available; please do your homework first to ensure you’re putting the right tree in the right place.  Once registered\, your selections are final.\nTreesCharlotte will send a follow-up email with planting instructions – including a planting video – watering instructions and specific information about the species you select. Tree planting is not provided.\n\nYou’ll be able to choose from the following trees when you register. DESCRIPTION:Excitement has been tree-mendous for this event and we are now “sold out” of trees.  Visit the events calendar for other opportunities. \nTreesCharlotte is excited to bring our Zip Code TreeStore to Southpark\, thanks to a generous sponsorship from Duke Power and Piedmont Natural Gas.  We invite residents living in zip codes 28207\, 28209\, 28210\, and 28211 to come on out and get some trees at a TBD location. \nTo ensure the event follows social distancing guidelines\, details are different from our typical TreeStores\, so read carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nYou must pre-register. Registration opens at 10 am Tues\, March 2.  (link will be below available species) and closes when we “sell out” of trees or at 11:59pm Fri. March 5.  \nEach address within zip code 28207\, 28209\, 28210\, and 28211 can get up to 2 trees. While the registration form does not limit the total number of trees\, households requesting more than 2 trees or addresses outside the listed zip codes will be notified and removed.\nA valid email address is required to register and proof of residency (ie drivers license\, utility bill) must be provided at the event.\nThe event will be drive-thru only to limit personal contact. You will be expected to load your own trees and mulch.\nTo respect guidelines around large gatherings and to limit the number of registrants on-site at any one time\, we are implementing staggered pick up times.  On the registration form\, you will choose a time-frame to pick up your trees. \nAbout the trees: The trees are in 3\, 5 and 7-gallon containers\, measure 5-12 feet tall\, and weigh about 10-15 pounds. If you’re a TreesCharlotte first-timer\, you can take home up to two FREE trees! What a terrific way to get started on what promises to be a wonderful tree journey in the Queen City. \nTo ensure the event follows social distancing guidelines\, some details are different from our typical TreeStores\, so read carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nYou must pre-register\, as no drive-ups will be allowed. Registration opens 10am Fri\, Mar 5 and closes when we sell out or 11:59pm Mon\, Mar 8.  The link to register will appear below the list of trees we’re offering\, once determined. \nNew participants only.  Each Charlotte address/household can get up to 2 trees. While the registration form does not limit the total number of trees\, households requesting more than 2 trees or households that have previously gotten trees will be notified and removed.\nThis one’s for new participants\, regardless of which zip code you live in\, as long as its within Charlotte city limits. Lucky for you\, we’re giving lots of trees away at our end of season City-wide Drive-thru TreeStore!  \nWe’ll have a big mix of species\, from small flowering to canopy building to evergreen screening. There’s something for everybody! \nTo ensure the event follows social distancing guidelines\, some details are different from our typical TreeStores\, so read carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nYou must pre-register. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday\, March\, 17 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Friday\, March 19.  Scroll down to below the list of species we’re offering for the link to register.\nEach Charlotte address/household can get up to 2 trees.
