SUMMARY:TreeAmbassador - Growing our Greenways
DESCRIPTION:Sustain Charlotte is hosting an exclusive sneak peek at Phase 1 of the Long Creek Greenway! On Saturday\, Nov. 19\, explore the recently completed section of this north Charlotte trail as part of our Growing our Greenways series with Partners for Parks\, Carolina Thread Trail\, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation\, and lastly us!  \nThe new section stretches from Interstate 77 to Treyburn Drive. Phase 2 is expected to be completed in 2023\, and Phase 3 is slated to start construction late this year. When finished\, the greenway will span roughly 4.5 miles and run from I-77 to Oakdale Road.  \nWe are looking for 1-2 TreeAmabassadors to assist Kate Bolkin and help table at the event.  \nFurther details will be provided the week of the event.
