DESCRIPTION:TreesCharlotte is proud to be a part of CED22\, which is a child-oriented family learning celebration…a Party with a Purpose. Upon arriving at CED22\, each child will receive an EARTH PASSPORT which they will ‘fill out’ by getting a sticker at every Knowledge Station. Once the child has filled out the Passport they can receive an EARTH BUTTON designating them then as an EARTH KID! This is a wonderful opportunity for children (and their parents) to learn more about the environmental systems and challenges!  \nWe are looking for up to 4 TreeAmbassadors to assist with the event. DESCRIPTION:TreesCharlotte is happy to partner with The Elizabeth Community Association (ECA) for the return of Charlotte’s oldest road race\, the Elizabeth 8K\, as an in-person event for 2022! The event will take place on Saturday\, April 30th. \nThere are several events to choose from: \nAn 8K timed race for the competitive type: This course provides a fantastic tour of the scenic residential and commercial streets of the Elizabeth neighborhood. \nA 1.5M untimed run/walk for the casual participants: Join your neighbors for a refreshing stroll\, go for a jog with your kids\, or just get outdoors for a nice walk through the neighborhood with your morning coffee. \nThe Liz Kids’ Fun Run for the little ones: Even the little ones can get in on the action with this FREE fun ~50-yard dash. It’s for kids six years of age and younger. \nIf you’re interested in running you can register HERE.  \nProceeds benefit the beautification of the historic Elizabeth neighborhood\, and TreesCharlotte!  \nWe are looking for 3 TreeAmbassadors to table and help hand out seedlings at the race!
