DESCRIPTION:Having completed a NeighborWoods Application TreesCharlotte is pleased to partner with the Wilmore neighborhood to provide trees to their residents. We will conduct a TreeAdoption at TreesCharlotte\, 701 Tuckaseegee rd\, on Sat\, Feb. 12th\, for residents to pick up and plant trees in their own yards! What a great way to add more shade and beauty to your neighborhood. \nResidents\, here’s what you need to know: \n\nEach Wilmore household can get up to 2 trees. You must pre-register for the trees. Registration opens at 10:00 am\, Monday\, Jan. 31 (link will be provided by neighborhood leadership) and closes at 11:59 pm\, Thursday\, Feb. 3rd.\nEach tree comes with a bag of mulch.\nYou will need to pick up your trees at 701 Tuckaseege Rd\, on Sat\, February 12\, between 9-11:00 a.m. If you cannot make this window\, please make arrangements with a neighbor to get your trees.\nAt the TreeAdoption\, you will be taught how to properly plant and care for your tree(s).  Tree training is mandatory.\nAbout the trees: The trees are in 7-gallon containers\, measure 6-15 feet tall\, and weigh about 20-25 pounds. The mulch weighs 25 pounds/bag.  Links will be provided below to learn more about each species; please do your homework first to ensure you’re putting the right tree in the right place.  Once registered\, your selections are final.\nTreesCharlotte will send a follow-up email with planting instructions – including a planting video and watering instructions.  Tree planting is not provided.\n\nOnce known\, information about the available trees will be posted below. DESCRIPTION:Due to the generous help of the City of Charlotte\, TreesCharlotte is excited to provide a special zip code TreeAdoption event for those in the Crescent of Charlotte! We invite residents living in zip codes 28206\, 28208\, 28213\, 28214\, and 28216 to come on out and get some trees at TreesCharlotte!   \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nTo ensure the event runs smoothly please read the details below carefully: \nHere’s what you need to know:  \n\nRegistration is required and opens at 10 am Friday\, February 4 and closes when we “sell-out” of trees or at 11:59 pm Thursday\, February 10. \nEach address within the city of Charlotte zip codes 28206\, 28208\, 28213\, 28214\, and 28216 can get up to 2 trees. While the registration form does not limit the total number of trees\, households requesting more than 2 trees will be notified and removed.\nA valid email address is required to register.\nPlease allow for at least 45 minutes to receive your trees as everyone is required to go through a planting demonstration. \nWe are continuing to implement staggered pickup times. On the registration form\, you will choose a time frame to pick up your trees. \nAt the TreeAdoption\, you will be taught how to properly plant and care for your tree(s).  Tree training is mandatory.\nAbout the trees: The trees are in 7-gallon containers\, measure 6-10 feet tall\, and weigh about 10-15 pounds. The mulch weighs 25 pounds/bag. Links to the species we are offering are provided below.  Please do your homework first to ensure you’re putting the right tree in the right place. What a great way to add more shade and beauty to your neighborhood. \nResidents\, here’s what you need to know: \n\nEach Prosperity Village household can get up to 3 trees\, with a limit of 2 of the same species per household.\nYou must pre-register for the trees.
