DESCRIPTION:TreesCharlotte is once again partnering with District Rotary to plant trees in Shuffletown Park. \n  \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 50 for this TreeDay. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly. We love our volunteers\, however we have reached capacity for this event.   Please visit our events calendar for other volunteer opportunities. \nTree planting events are great for families and everyone is welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register is Sunday\, February 23. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event. \nWe are still in need of TreeMasters\, please log in to complete registration.

SUMMARY:Oakdale Elementary TreeDay
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to our partnership with LendingTree\, Charlotte 2020 Host Committee and 2020 Convention Planners\, TreesCharlotte will be planting approximately 120 trees on the campus of Oakdale Elementary School. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 75 for this TreeDay. Register early as our events “sell out” quickly.  0 spots remain. \nVolunteer groups of 10 or more\, please contact events director\, Heike Biller to determine if there is enough capacity. \nTree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate active volunteer counts\, please list all participants on the registration form\, along with children’s ages. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. \nChildren activities will be provided by our community partner\, NC Wildlife Federation. \nTreesCharlotte is exited to partner with our official coffee sponsor\, CupLux Coffee to provide our volunteers with delicious\, hand crafted coffee at our events. \nEvents are held rain or shine.  A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions. \nDeadline to register to volunteer is Sunday\, February 23. \nOnce registered\, more detailed information will be emailed to you the week of the event. \nTreeMasters – we have enough help for this event\, consider registering for the Shuffletown event on the same day.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that TreesCharlotte is joining in a partnership with the Hemby Program Center and Brace Family YMCA to wrap 1\,000 seedlings\, which we will distribute across the city! \nThe facility will be open for activities including archery\, climbing\, fishing\, the moon bounce and more. This event is FREE for everyone! I have included the flyer\, above\, for distribution purposes. \nWe are looking for a group of our TreeAmbassadors to help out at this event!
