DESCRIPTION:TreesCharlotte is celebrating “Earth Month” by returning to the campus of Starmount Academy to do routine maintenance on the trees planted in Fall\, 2016.  TreesCharlotte periodically returns to school campuses to ensure that the trees we previously planted continue to thrive.  Stewardship events are vital to our mission of expanding Charlotte’s tree canopy. \nVolunteers will help with mulching and staking existing trees. \nTo ensure a safe and enjoyable event\, we are limiting the number of volunteers to 15 for this Stewardship event.  0 Spots Remaining. \nEvents are held rain or shine. \nA few TreeMasters are still needed to help at this event.

DESCRIPTION:Whether it’s for your love of the environment\, your interest in sustainability non-profits or your appetite for the food trucks\, UNCC wants you to come on out for the annual UNC Charlotte Earth Day Festival on April 3rd! This event will be held in the newly renovated Belk Plaza in the center of campus. Attendees will be able to find out what local organizations are doing in the community\, how they can get involved\, tips on how to be a bit more environmentally-friendly\, and of course\, free giveaways from the vendors. \nTreesCharlotte will be there will seedlings and tree trivia!
