Sponsor a Planting

Invest in Your Community

Without the generosity of our corporate sponsors, the mission of TreesCharlotte could never be realized. Corporate sponsors donate volunteers, tools, capital and other resources. Good stewards of the community and our environment, our corporate sponsors are the lifeblood of our organization.

Corporate Volunteer Program

Through TreesCharlotte’s Corporate Volunteer Program, employees have an opportunity to lend a hand to expand the tree canopy and help make Charlotte a cleaner, greener, more inviting place to live and work. This program also provides an excellent opportunity for team building within your organization.

Whether planting trees in a CMS school campus or at a public park, volunteers get a real sense of accomplishment and enjoy a change of pace from their ordinary workday. TreesCharlotte’s Corporate Volunteer projects are also a great way to reduce our carbon footprint and help give back to the Charlotte community by making a profound and tangible impact.

“Duke Energy has partnered with TreesCharlotte for several years as part of our Care4Environment program. Our employees have planted hundreds of trees across the community. The experience is transformational. The landscape changes dramatically for a school yard or neighborhood park – from one that’s sparse to full of saplings. Neighbors participate and relationships begin to develop. And, our employees are helping to make a difference in our communities. These are just a few of the benefits of how TreesCharlotte transforms lives and landscapes!”

Getting Involved Is Easy

TreesCharlotte requests a donation from each corporate sponsor for its project. These funds not only buy trees and provide necessary supplies, materials and tools for each event, but they also help ensure the work TreesCharlotte does in neighborhoods throughout the city can continue beyond each volunteer day. All donations are tax-deductible.

If you are unable to provide a corporate donation but are still interested in helping out, we will try to accommodate your employees at an already scheduled TreeDay project, which occur primarily on Saturdays.

Corporate Volunteer Levels

The suggested donation for Tree Planting Projects generally ranges from $10,000 to $25,000, depending on the size of the event and number of trees. Typically, we plant between 100 and 250 trees per event during the October to April time period.

Please contact Chuck Cole at 704-999-0671or for more details about becoming a TreesCharlotte Corporate Sponsor.
