If you haven’t been to a TreeStore, this is the one to hit. We’ll have 800 to 1,000 trees, covering all kinds of species, ready for you to take home. Anybody with a valid Charlotte address can take two home for free! Species are first-come, first-served. And just like all of our TreeStores, each recipient must take a short tree planting and care class and sign a stewardship pledge form. Click here
for more information. FREE!

Beer and Bark: TreesCharlotteFundraiser at Legion Brewing
6-9 p.m. • Legion Brewing, 1906 Commonwealth Ave.
Here’s a triple treat: Running, craft beer and TreesCharlotte! Legion Brewing and the Elizabeth 8K are hosting a fundraiser just for TreesCharlotte. For every pint sold on March 15, $1 will go to TreesCharlotte. If you want to do more than drink beer, you can join the Legiondary Run Club for a 4.4-mile run around Plaza Midwood at 6:30 p.m. and then try your hand at Music Bingo at 7:30 p.m. We’ll have giveaways all night, you can register on site for the Elizabeth 8K and there just might be a Rooty sighting!* Click here
for more information.
*If you can’t make it for this event, you can still drink beer and help TreesCharlotte. For the entire month of March, every pint poured from the Legion Adventure Tap (a label that circulates among all the brews) will equal $1 for TreesCharlotte.
