Thanks to the generous support of Wells Fargo, our goal is to give away approximately 500 trees to residents in the Prosperity Village area.
Residents of the Prosperity Village area are invited to come out, learn about trees and take a few home to plant. At the event, you will be trained on how to properly plant and care for your tree(s). Tree training is mandatory. You will then be asked to complete and sign a Stewardship Pledge Form with your home and email address (mandatory) and declare your pledge to take care of the tree(s) we provide.
We cannot guarantee species type or quantities. Trees are 6-10′ tall, and will not be reserved or transported. This is a first come, first served event.
If you are a resident of the Prosperity Village area and would like to sign up for trees, please click here or the “Get Trees” button at the top of the page. Deadline to register for trees is Friday, October 20.
Our community partner, NC Wildlife Federation will be on hand with fun, interactive children activities between 9:00 and 10:00am.
We are looking for a few volunteers to help at the event. Volunteers will help residents load trees and mulch into their cars, and help with traffic control. Please complete the form below to register to volunteer. Deadline to register to volunteer is Sunday, October 22.
Excitement for our volunteer tree planting events has been Tree-mendous. To ensure a fun and safe event, we have reached maximum capacity for this event. Please visit the community calendar for additional opportunities.
