6th Annual Urban Forestry Summit

Save the date for the 6th Annual Urban Forestry Summit, Sponsored by Bartlett Tree Experts, on Jan. 23 at the Harris Conference Center. The goal of the Summit is to share in an interesting and interactive discussion of the topics most relevant to our urban forest.

Stakeholders and the general public are invited for cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres at 5pm. And a screening of the documentary “Felled” will be shown in the main hall at 6 pm Following the film, we will have a panel discussion of local luminaries who will break down the Urban Forest Master Plan so you can better understand why it was created, what its goals are and what we all need to do to make those goals real. Slated to sit on the panel: City Arborist Tim Porter, developer Terrence Llewellyn of Llewellyn Development and community leader Theresa Rosa with Prosperity Village Area Association. Local meteorologist Brad Panovich will moderate.
